The lead unit in a projected three ship class. Freedom of the Seas took the
title of largest cruise ship from the preceeding Voyager class, and the title
of largest passenger ship from the Cunard Queen Mary 2. Though generally laid
out the same, the Freedom class makes use of its extra leangth to enhance passenger
flow, offer additional public space, and refine the experience created on the
preceeding Voyager class.
