Explorer of the Seas - History

Explorer of the Seas is the second unit in the Voyager class ships from Royal Caribbean International. Unique in the cruise industry, Explorer of the Seas hosts a working labratory, administered by the University of Miami. The Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science makes use of the regular schedule the ship maintains, to gain data on the regions in which the ship operates. Short tours can be taken aboard ship, of the labs facilities.
