Tonight on five we had an hour long programme about the building of Freedom. It was similar to the one about QM2 last year with its rushed footage and not explaining time had actually passed. For instance, the pod problem. It was said it happened during the first sea trails and it was 4 months until handover so they needed a shipyard fast to fix it. Later it didn't say it was now 4 months on but implied it was shortly afterwards. Despite a few irritants and mistakes it was a really interesting programme.

The Travel channel does a lot of those shows here in the states. Some are better than others. I suspect the re-edit the footage a lot, as to stretch their production budgets. Still, I have never seen as many as I see featuring RCI.
