It was recently announced that Philip Levine, a cruise industry
entrepreneur, has teamed his company (Royal Media Partners) with Royal
Caribbean International in order to update its onboard port shopping
services. This process will be complete by October 1, 2011 and will
include port shopping services, publishing, impressive in-stateroom
television programming and plenty of innovative onboard media
initiatives for the cruise line's ships that are scheduled to sail in
the Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda, New England, Mexico and Alaska. The
even will place a major emphasis on interactive technology and
entertainment.
The emphases will come in the form of informative and exciting
destination TV programming in the rooms of the guests as well as
technological products to enhance the shopping experience including
pre-cruise, web-based port shopping and concierge information and live
shopping talks on demand. "We are very excited to once again be working
with the team at Royal Caribbean International and to not only increase
revenue for the port shopping program, but to be a partner in driving
all onboard revenue," said Philip Levine, president and CEO Royal Media
Partners. Talk about it, in the Royal Caribbean Fan Forums! Join our community today, and get the Cruise Aficionados app for Android!
